Lucky Lucy’s Pets is a dog walking and pet sitting company in the Greater Boston area. Established in 2012, LLP focuses on quality and professional care for your family members that aren’t humans.
At Lucky Lucy's Pets, we believe exceptional pet care is built on trust, consistency, and relationships. Since 2012, we've assembled a team of compassionate, knowledgeable professionals who care for every pet as if they were their own. Whether we're walking your dog, caring for your cat while you're away, or looking after a senior pet with specialized needs, our goal is always the same: to provide dependable, personalized care that gives you complete peace of mind.
One of the biggest advantages of choosing Lucky Lucy's Pets is our team-based approach to pet care.
Rather than relying on a single dog walker or pet sitter, we intentionally build a small team of familiar caregivers around your pet. You'll typically have a primary caregiver, along with one or two additional team members who become familiar faces over time. This means if your primary caregiver is sick, on vacation, or unavailable, your pet is already comfortable with the person stepping in—eliminating the stress of introducing a complete stranger at the last minute.
We know every pet has their own personality, routine, and preferences, which is why we create individualized care plans for every family we serve. Through our online scheduling system, you'll receive detailed visit journals, photos, and updates after every service so you always know exactly how your pet's visit went.
As we've grown, we've remained committed to quality over quantity. We intentionally keep our client roster manageable so every pet receives the time, attention, and individualized care they deserve. Our management team brings more than 40 years of combined professional pet care experience, providing guidance, training, and support to every member of our team. Combined with ongoing education in pet behavior, handling, safety, and industry best practices, this ensures we're consistently delivering the highest standard of professional pet care.
Every Lucky Lucy's Pets team member is thoroughly background checked, fully insured and bonded, and carefully selected for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication to exceptional animal care. When you choose Lucky Lucy's Pets, you're not hiring just one walker—you're gaining an experienced team that's committed to keeping your pet safe, happy, and cared for every step of the way.
Stephanie is the owner, founder and CEO of Lucky Lucy’s Pets. She began working in the professional pet care world in 2010 and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
She began Lucky Lucy’s in 2012 after seeing the imbalance in quality professional care that existed for our four-legged family members. Through patience and a true love of what she does, she excels at treating each pet with the same love she would her own. She’s a self-proclaimed crazy dog lady, which helps.
Stephanie currently resides in MA with her 3 rescue dogs. Gracie, Gaston and MiMi. Stephanie is pet CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross. She's an active volunteer in several New England based rescue organizations, from fostering to providing home visits to potential adopters. There’s never a time she isn’t caring for animals, so while enjoying any of her hobbies she usually has a few wagging tails following close behind.
Amanda has been our Social Media and Events manager for over 10 years. Originally from NH, she resides in Wakefield with her husband, her son & daughter and her rescue cat, Pickles. She’s a self-diagnosed crazy cat lady, and loves being able to combine her love of animals with her extensive marketing experience. She is a volunteer for Kitty Connection, a cat rescue organization based in Medford.
Amanda coordinates all of our dog-friendly events, and manages our blog. She has her hands full but loves getting to meet our pack members at events, and come up with fun captions and themes for all of the photos.
When not creating content for our social media, she’s also an actress!
Scott resides in Saugus with his wife, Claire, and their 4-year-old Brittany Spaniel, Strider. In years passed he’s worked at several doggy day camps and worked as a dog groomer before making the transition to LLP. He’s an active volunteer with the New England Brittany Rescue providing transport and home visits for potential adopters.
Outside LLP, Scott likes to stay active, but can also be found in peaceful contemplation meditating and gardening. Having a green thumb sure takes patience! He’s been an avid drum player for years, having an all-around love for music. Scott can be found hiking or longboarding with his dog Strider. Sadly, Strider does not have his own longboard, he runs next to Scott. We all think Strider should take up his own longboard and put his pops to shame.
Mika joined Lucky Lucy’s Pets as Office Manager, bringing several years of hands-on experience in the pet care industry along with her certification in canine nutrition. Since 2022, she has supported both clients and staff through thoughtful scheduling, clear communication, and organized operations that help keep daily services running smoothly.
At home, Mika shares life with her miniature schnauzer, Maisey, whose spunky personality sparked Mika’s deeper interest in canine health, nutrition, and enrichment. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, nature walks with Maisey, dancing, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with family in Midcoast Maine.
