Lucky Lucy’s Pets maintains the highest standards of professionalism and excellence when caring for your beloved pets. Since 2012, our dedicated team of passionate animal lovers has gone above and beyond to provide the same love, attention, and reliability that you would give at home. Every member of our team delivers exceptional care to all animals in our care — from dogs and cats to birds and rabbits — because we truly love them all.
We pride ourselves on providing personalized care plans tailored to each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. To give families peace of mind, we provide detailed daily visit journals and photo updates, allowing you to stay connected and informed while you are away.
While our team continues to grow, we remain committed to staffing knowledgeable, dependable, and compassionate caregivers who provide top-tier care. Our team members receive ongoing training and education to ensure we are always providing safe, informed, and professional pet care services. We prioritize quality over quantity, carefully managing the number of pets in our care to ensure each animal remains happy, healthy, and safe.
All Lucky Lucy’s Pets team members undergo background checks, are fully insured and bonded, and are carefully selected to meet our high standards of trusted, professional pet care.
Stephanie is the owner, founder and CEO of Lucky Lucy’s Pets. She began working in the professional pet care world in 2010 and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
She began Lucky Lucy’s in 2012 after seeing the imbalance in quality professional care that existed for our four-legged family members. Through patience and a true love of what she does, she excels at treating each pet with the same love she would her own. She’s a self-proclaimed crazy dog lady, which helps.
Stephanie currently resides in MA with her 3 rescue dogs. Gracie, Gaston and MiMi. Stephanie is pet CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross. She's an active volunteer in several New England based rescue organizations, from fostering to providing home visits to potential adopters. There’s never a time she isn’t caring for animals, so while enjoying any of her hobbies she usually has a few wagging tails following close behind.
Amanda has been our Social Media and Events manager for over 6 years. Originally from NH, she resides in Wakefield with her husband, her son and her rescue cat, Pickles. She’s a self-diagnosed crazy cat lady, and loves being able to combine her love of animals with her extensive marketing experience. She is a volunteer for Kitty Connection, a cat rescue organization based in Medford.
Amanda is the mastermind behind all of the posts and captions of our amazing pet clients on social media. She also creates our newsletter, coordinates all of our dog-friendly events, and manages our blog. She has her hands full but loves getting to meet our pack members at events, and come up with fun captions and themes for all of the photos.
When not creating content for our social media, she’s also an actress!
After the chaos the world was in during COVID, Scott is a breath of fresh air to the LLP team! Scott is a newlywed residing in Saugus with his wife, Claire, and 2 dogs, a 4-year-old Brittany Spaniel, Strider and a 12-year-old yellow lab, Vickie. (Fun fact: Vickie is a Guiding Eyes for the Blind dog that Claire puppy-raised!) In years passed he’s worked at several doggy day camps and worked as a dog groomer before making the transition to LLP. He’s an active volunteer with the New England Brittany Rescue providing transport and home visits for potential adopters.
Outside LLP, Scott likes to stay active, but can also be found in peaceful contemplation meditating and gardening. Having a green thumb sure takes patience! He’s been an avid drum player for years, having an all-around love for music. Scott can be found hiking or longboarding with his dog Strider. Sadly, Strider does not have his own longboard, he runs next to Scott. We all think Strider should take up his own longboard and put his pops to shame.
Some of our team members are a bit camera shy!
