Stephanie - Owner/ceo

Stephanie is the owner, founder and CEO of Lucky Lucy’s Pets. She began working in the professional pet care world in 2010 and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!

She began Lucky Lucy’s in 2012 after seeing the imbalance in quality professional care that existed for our four-legged family members. Through patience and a true love of what she does, she excels at treating each pet with the same love she would her own. She’s a self-proclaimed crazy dog lady, which helps.

Stephanie currently resides in MA with her 3 rescue dogs. Gracie, Gaston and MiMi. Stephanie is pet CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross. She's an active volunteer in several New England based rescue organizations, from fostering to providing home visits to potential adopters. There’s never a time she isn’t caring for animals, so while enjoying any of her hobbies she usually has a few wagging tails following close behind.

Amanda - Social media and events manager

Amanda has been our Social Media and Events manager for over 6 years. Originally from NH, she resides in Wakefield with her husband, her son and her rescue cat, Pickles. She’s a self-diagnosed crazy cat lady, and loves being able to combine her love of animals with her extensive marketing experience. She is a volunteer for Kitty Connection, a cat rescue organization based in Medford.

Amanda is the mastermind behind all of the posts and captions of our amazing pet clients on social media. She also creates our newsletter, coordinates all of our dog-friendly events, and manages our blog. She has her hands full but loves getting to meet our pack members at events, and come up with fun captions and themes for all of the photos.

When not creating content for our social media, she’s also an actress!

Scott - office manager

After the chaos the world was in during COVID, Scott is a breath of fresh air to the LLP team! Scott is a newlywed residing in Saugus with his wife, Claire, and 2 dogs, a 4-year-old Brittany Spaniel, Strider and a 12-year-old yellow lab, Vickie. (Fun fact: Vickie is a Guiding Eyes for the Blind dog that Claire puppy-raised!) In years passed he’s worked at several doggy day camps and worked as a dog groomer before making the transition to LLP. He’s an active volunteer with the New England Brittany Rescue providing transport and home visits for potential adopters.

Outside LLP, Scott likes to stay active, but can also be found in peaceful contemplation meditating and gardening. Having a green thumb sure takes patience! He’s been an avid drum player for years, having an all-around love for music. Scott can be found hiking or longboarding with his dog Strider. Sadly, Strider does not have his own longboard, he runs next to Scott. We all think Strider should take up his own longboard and put his pops to shame.

chip - Senior pack leader

Chip was born and raised in the South, but now resides in Melrose. He’s been volunteering at the Northeast Animal Shelter since 2013 in the Dog Kennel where he’s a Mentor, photographer, and a Red Dot Volunteer, which means he can work with the more difficult dogs. His love of being at the shelter helped him come to work with dogs full time.

When not working with his canine friends, Chip is an avid alpine skier where he’s a ski club’s Race Chair.  He loves skiing, but he also loves working for Lucky Lucy’s Pets. Helping and working with our clients and their pets is the best part. Whether it be training tips, playing with them and giving well deserved scratches, or simply taking them for a walk, providing the best care for their dog is what’s most important and incredibly gratifying!

Greg - Senior pack leader

Greg currently lives in the bustling metropolis of Stoneham, MA with his rescue Chihuahua mix Clarice. Growing up, he used to work on his Aunt’s farm over the summers and got to encounter all sorts of animals. His favorite activities other than hanging out with animals, is writing screenplays.

Before joining the LLP team and making us that much better, he worked in a pet supply store and quickly realized how much he truly loves being around four legged friends and getting to care for them. Greg has been with LLP for 5 years now and anyone that’s been fortunate enough to have their pet cared for by Greg, knows just how caring and loving he is to each pet. He creates a special bond with each pet, and we’re so happy to have him on board.

Shaylee - team member

LLP just attracts all of the Southern transplants! Originally from Central Florida, Shaylee moved to Massachusetts in 2016. She currently resides in Methuen with the love of her life (her dog, of course), Mini.

Shaylee often says that she has loved animals since she could breathe, so having a career working with animals came very natural to her. Studying Zoology at the University of New Hampshire, she has the goal of becoming a certified wildlife rehabilitatist. The best part about being part of the LLP crew? It’s re-ignited her passion for animals! She feels honored to be of service and care for your pet as part of our team.
