Stephanie - Owner/CEO
Stephanie is the owner and founder of Lucky Lucy’s Pets. She began working in the professional pet care world in 2010 and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
She began Lucky Lucy’s Pets in 2012 after seeing the imbalance in quality professional care that existed for our four legged family members. Through patience and a true love of what she does, her talents lie in caring for special needs pets; whether it be in medication administration or an extra watchful eye on them.
Stephanie currently resides in Medford but originally hails from upstate New York. Stephanie is pet CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross. She's an active volunteer in several New England based rescue organizations, providing home visits to potential adopters, and helping to find forever homes. Her goal in life is to be that crazy dog lady!
Amanda - Social Media/Events Manager
Amanda joins our team as the Social Media and Events manager. Originally from NH, she resides in Stoneham with her husband and 2 rescue cats Pickles and Herbie. She’s a self-diagnosed crazy cat lady and loves being able to combine her love of animals with her years of marketing experience.
Amanda is the mastermind behind all of the posts and captions of our amazing pet clients on social media. She also creates our monthly newsletter, coordinates all of our dog-friendly events, and manages our blog. She has her hands full but loves getting to meet our clients and come up with cute captions for all of the photos!
Emily - Office Manager
Emily joins our team as office manager, melding her love of animals with her love of organization! Originally from Long Island NY, Emily grew up with a quirky German Shepherd named Lucky and 5 cats she rescued with her parents. She volunteered with the North Shore Animal League while in high school, and realized that animal care and rescue was her passion. After graduating college in 2015, she moved to Boston and eventually made her dream a reality!
Emily currently resides in Somerville, and while she cannot have a pup of her own, she is grateful to love and care for so many pets! Being a part of the Lucky Lucy's team has given Emily the chance to learn about the best ways to aide pets and clients alike. Eventually she would love to have her own elderly dog sanctuary.
Jessica embodies the perfect example of leaving behind that corporate job to pursue a career working with animals! A real down to earth animal lover, Jessica comes to us after years of working for MIT. Stuck behind a desk and working that 9-5pm grind, Jessica wanted out. She soon found Lucky Lucy's Pets and the rest is history!
Jessica has experience working with all breeds of dogs and caring for all types of cats. She is pet CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross. She has a real patience for those pups that are a bit hesitant with new people, and for those cats that may have a couple of health concerns and just needs an extra patient watchful eye. Her favorite part of the job? Regardless of what is going on in her life, the first door she opens to find a wagging tail behind it, her day just couldn't get any better!
Cate comes to us from a small town in New Hampshire, where surrounded by wildlife her great love of dogs, cats and all animals flourished. Following that love, she began working with dogs in a grooming salon and the rest is history as they say!
Joining our team, Cate provides everything from daily dog walking, pet sitting, to in home boarding. She's well versed in medication administration of all sorts and loves getting to spend her time with all of the pets. She's pet CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross. Cate always says "the best part of my day is the excitement of each pet when you open up their front door!" She is a self admitted lady on her way to being a "crazy cat lady" and thinks three would suit her just fine. For now she's madly in love with her cat, Callum
Hannah joins our dog walking team after a lifelong love of animals. Growing up, her family bred Golden Retrievers and Shitzu’s, so there was never a lack of four legged love around her home. Currently has three cats (Luna, Tequila and Beans) and while she’s absolutely a crazy cat lady, her rescue pup Ripley is the love of her life and goes to work with her every day. What a life!
Hannah’s passion for being a caregiver shone through with her work as a CNA, but soon she found her true calling was to provide care to animals. She comes to us after working for a doggy daycare and wanting to be more involved in the hands on care and love of each animal.
Gina originally hails from Long Island, NY and has been a Boston transplant for over ten years now. She is a professional freelance photographer, whose favorite subject had always been her Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Ernie. She currently lives in Salem with her corgi pup, Spanky.
Gina has always loved working with animals, and when not hanging out with the pets of Lucky Lucy’s, she’s currently on the kennel staff at the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA. Her favorite part of working at the kennel? Getting to meet and help all the animals feel welcomed until they find their forever homes. She has a very large heart, and her soft spot is for the elderly dogs.
Jeanette - Coming soon
Greg currently lives in the bustling metropolis of Stoneham, MA with his newly rescued Chihuahua mix Clarice. Growing up, he used to work on his Aunt’s farm over the summers and got to encounter all sorts of animals. His favorite activities other than hanging out with animals, is writing screenplays.
Before joining the LLP team and making us that much better, he worked in a pet supply store and quickly realized how much he truly loves being around four legged friends and getting to care for them. Anyone that’s been fortunate enough to have their pet cared for by Greg, knows just how caring and loving he is to each pet. He creates a special bond with each pet, and we’re so happy to have him on board.
Jessica is from the greater Boston area and currently resides in Malden, MA. Growing up, Jessica always had a feline member of the family, but loves all animals! She knows exactly what kind of joy pets bring to your life and your family.
Jessica has worked with all different kinds of animals, from wolves/wildlife to the more common household family members like dogs, cats and bunnies. One of her favorite parts of the job would have to be spending time with each and every pet, getting to know their personalities and creating that special bond with them.
Eve was born and raised in Massachusetts, and hasn't found a reason to leave yet! She started taking care of her friends and family's pets at a young age, ranging in variety from parakeets to Great Danes.
Emily comes to us as a part time, she knows how special and loving pets are, and provides the one-on-one care you would want them to have when you're away. When not caring for pets, Emily is an actress and yoga teacher who still tries to say hello to every dog she sees.
Chip was born and raised in the South, but now resides in Malden. He’s been volunteering at the Northeast Animal Shelter since 2013 in the Dog Kennel where he’s a Mentor, photographer, and a Red Dot Volunteer, which means he can work with the more difficult dogs. His love of being at the shelter helped him come to work with dogs full time.
When not working with his canine friends, Chip is an avid alpine skier where he’s a ski club’s Race Chair. He loves skiing, but he also loves working for Lucky Lucy’s Pets. Helping and working with our clients and their pets is the best part. Whether it be training tips, playing with them and giving well deserved scratches, or simply taking them for a walk, providing the best care for their dog is what’s most important and incredibly gratifying!
Bijan has always had a passion for taking care of animals. Even when he was growing up in a house full of siblings with allergies, he found himself taking care of his neighbors’ pets, and cleaning up local wildlife habitats.
In 2014, Bijan started taking care of some fellow musicians' dogs while they were out on tour. Word spread among other touring dog owners, and after a few months of "sure, I can handle one more dog", he found himself as a passionate and busy member of the pet care industry. After joining LLP, Bijans love of animals grew even more and he got his own chihuahua/Italian greyhound pup named "Milo." Milo likes being read to, even though he doesn't understand what's happening.

After receiving his BA in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Med, Jon moved to Boston to pursue his academic goals. He's helped to take care of some of our bunny, kitty and fish clients as well. He's currently certified in pet CPR and first aid through the American Red Cross. Jon is a part time member of our team, but if your dog receives in home boarding with us at the LLP headquarters, they'll be sure to get to know him!
